Please check the size of your runners. Our shoes are made to conform with International sizing standards and as such will be comparable to all popular brands of running shoes for sizing.

There is a bit of confusion around this because traditionally rowing programs will by large shoes that allow people of a range of sizes to fit into. While this is practical, it certainly is not optimal!

Your rowing shoes are your only solid connection to the boat. As such we suggest a snug fit that is firm but comfortable while wearing socks.

We would suggest two solutions;

1. Use the Batlogic or Filippi quick release system. The base plates go in the boat and attached to the shoe plate, while each pair of shoes has it's own shoe plate that allows it to easily lock in/out of the boat. To complement this you can add a heel clip to the foot stretcher of the boat to make attaching the heel ties easier

2. Buy additional shoe plates form your boat manufacturer. You then simply swap in and out the shoes via the changing of the shoe plate as required. Many modern boats make this easy. You can also get M6 nylon thumb screws to replace M6 nuts to make this process tool-less and quick
